I’m an Australia-based artist and photographer, working from my home studio in the coastal town of Brunswick Heads in far north New South Wales.
My artworks are in private collections around the world. They are museum-quality and can be bought through this website. Each panel is prepped with picture hardware, ready to hang. Domestic and international shipping is available, and all artworks are professionally packed for shipping.
My process is very unusual – it’s technical and time-consuming but also meditative. I burn wax and resin (known as ‘encaustic medium’) into cradled wooden panels using a live flame. Each panel has up to 40 layers fused onto it, and each of the layers is inked, etched and glazed to create a deep and textured dreamscape.
My finished pieces are best left unframed to showcase their unique edges and corners.
